Perhaps best known as a return specialist, Washington ended up playing a lot of WR snaps for the Dolphins last season but didn't get many chances downfield (5.2 aDOT). He got more playing time after Tyreek Hill's season-ending injury, but his volume remained dependent on schemed touches. Still, it would be unfair to write off Washington entirely after he spent his first two NFL seasons in an offense designed around Tua Tagovailoa's limitations. Miami's new offense with Malik Willis at QB presumably won't provide a ton of target volume, but Washington at least faces soft competition for playing time in the slot.
