2026 Fantasy Outlook
Cowing, a 2024 fourth-round pick, missed his entire Year 2 campaign in 2025 due to a hamstring injury. As a rookie, he logged 15 regular-season appearances but totaled just four grabs for 80 yards on six targets in that span. As Cowing is under contract through 2027, he figures to get a chance to compete for a depth role in 2026, but with Mike Evans, Christian Kirk and rookie second-rounder De'Zhaun Stribling having joined San Francisco's wide receiver corps this offseason, his best chance to get on the field will be as a punt returner.
