After serving his purpose in Oklahoma City, Dort was traded to Atlanta during the offseason, where he will likely play a key role, be it as a starter or off the bench. In 69 appearances during the 2025-26 season, Dort averaged 8.3 points, 0.9 steals and 1.9 three-pointers in 26.8 minutes per game. Dort is perhaps the best example of a player whose real-life value far outweighs their fantasy value. Dort's importance on the defensive end cannot be overstated; however, even his efforts on the defensive end fail to translate. While he should flirt with 28 minutes per game for the Hawks, there is no reason to consider drafting Dort, outside of deeper formats.
