After beginning the 2025-26 season in Washington, McCollum was moved to Atlanta prior to the trade deadline, where he served as a starter for the majority of the rest of the season. In 25 appearances over the final two months, he put up top 90 value in standard leagues, averaging 18.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.4 three-pointers in 29.1 minutes per game. Despite being aged 41, it's clear McCollum still has some gas left in the tank. After acquiring Aaron Wiggins, Lu Dort, Devin Carter and Kingston Fleming, Atlanta has plenty to choose from when it comes to the backcourt. With that said, McCollum is likely to play a similar role, be it as a starter or off the bench. A lack of peripheral stats will almost certainly drag down his overall value, making him a viable target after pick 100. While the upside is limited, he should be tasked with doing enough to have a relatively safe floor, making him a boring yet serviceable acquisition to any fantasy squad.
