Finney-Smith heads into a new environment after he was traded to the Hawks in late September. He had one of the worst seasons of his career in 2025-26, averaging a career-low 3.3 points per game while logging another career-low 16.8 minutes per contest with the Rockets. At his best, Finney-Smith is a proven three-and-D option, but he didn't play enough in Houston to be considered a reliable fantasy option even in the deepest formats, and his role with the Hawks remains uncertain. Even if he bounces back in the upcoming campaign, his upside as a bench option will be limited to a streaming role with value in category-based formats due to his defensive contributions and three-point shooting.
