A fourth-round selection in 2025, Hunter got the usual treatment from Sean McVay for a rookie running back, failing to get a snap on offense at all and seeing limited action on special teams early in the schedule before being inactive the rest of the regular season after a Week 6 appearance. The Auburn product ran a 4.44 40-yard time at the combine and showed good burst and power in college, with a low center of gravity that made him tough to bring down. He didn't display much elusiveness and doesn't offer much as a pass catcher, however, perhaps limiting him to a short-yardage role in the NFL. Hunter remains buried on the Rams' depth chart behind Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and Ronnie Rivers, but he may get more opportunities in his second NFL season if he can earn a little trust from his coach.
