A fifth-round pick by the Broncos in the 2024 draft, Estime saw a fairly consistent role over the second half of his rookie season, but he didn't display much upside. Denver attempted to slip him through to the practice squad after adding J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey to the backfield last offseason, but Estime wound up trying his luck with Philadelphia instead before eventually landing in New Orleans and making his Saints debut in Week 10 as injuries hit the running back room. The Notre Dame product handled lead back duties over the final two games, turning 35 carries into 157 rushing yards and a touchdown while adding a 6-47-0 line through the air. Estime's 4.71 40-yard time at the combine puts a firm ceiling on his upside, but he looks the part of a classic power back at 5-foot-11 and 227 pounds and recorded seven broken tackles on only 46 carries in 2025. The Saints brought in Travis Etienne to be their new lead back and still have Alvin Kamara around, at least for now, but Estime could be a better fit for a short-yardage and goal-line role than the team's other depth options at RB.
