Brown was a four-year SEC contributor as both a wideout and kick returner, spending three years at Kentucky before moving up to LSU for his final season. Six of his 65 kickoff returns went for touchdowns, but he added just 12 receiving scores, never topping his freshman-year marks of 628 yards and four TDs. A 4.4 40 at the 2026 Combine didn't help Brown's cause, as there were hopes for an even better time, especially given his thin frame (5-foot-11, 177). He ended up falling to Round 6 in April, becoming the third WR drafted by the Saints (Jordyn Tyson - Round 1, Bryce Lance - Round 4). There's a strong chance the Saints ask Brown to focus on special teams, competing for a role on kick returns even if he's buried on the offensive depth chart.
