Jerome played just 15 games during the 2025-26 season, with a significant calf injury costing him the first three months of the season, before eventually being shut down due to an ankle injury. When he was available and despite playing limited minutes, Jerome thrived as the starting point guard, averaging 19.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.8 three-pointers, good enough for top 40 value. Heading into the 2026-27 season, Jerome could very well find himself in a similar situation in terms of opportunity, particularly now that Ja Morant has been traded to Portland. Jerome will compete with Scotty Pippen and Javon Small for point guard minutes, both of whom also have their pros and cons. While managers shouldn't expect another top 40 season from Jerome, it's not unrealistic to think that he could flirt with top 75 value, assuming he can maintain a starter-level role. Targeting him around pick 100 feels like a relatively risk-free maneuver.
