While Portland has been hoarding guards over the last year, Camara has quietly been one of their most valuable forwards. This Frenchman has become one of the NBA's best defenders, setting career highs last season. Camara averaged 13.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.7 threes across 33 minutes a night last year. That's quite the bump from a second-round draft pick from three years ago, with Camara showcasing a game that many NBA teams are desperate for. He's an elite defender who doesn't need the ball on the other end and can knock down threes when given the opportunity. Guys like that are critical in today's NBA, and this fourth-year player might be scratching the surface of what he could become. The depth of this roster is a slight concern, though, because there are simply too many mouths to feed. Deni Avdija, Damian Lillard, Jrue Holiday and Scoot Henderson are all expected to be ball-handlers, while Shaedon Sharpe is a talented wing as well. That leaves us with more questions than answers, but Camara should be guaranteed 30-35 minutes a night, simply due to his elite defense.
