Allen is coming off a career-best season in 2025-26, averaging 16.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game while starting in 27 of his 51 regular-season appearances. However, he shot just 34.9 percent from three-point range, and his situation will be completely different compared to the previous campaign. He was traded from Phoenix to Charlotte, and in a team that features Coby White, Brandon Miller and Kon Knueppel as the starters at PG, SG and SF, Allen will be limited to a bench role. His fantasy contributions will be tied to his three-point shooting and what he can do defensively, but all of that simply screams late-round flier in most standard formats. His fantasy profile is fairly straightforward: he helps in threes, free-throw percentage and turnovers while offering modest contributions elsewhere. Because he doesn't generate many rebounds, assists or defensive stats, his ceiling is limited outside of category leagues that heavily value perimeter shooting. Ultimately, his role and playing time will determine the kind of fantasy contributor he'll be, but the ceiling is very low.
