Jenkins quietly emerged as one of Detroit's biggest surprises in 2025-26 after beginning the year on the fringes of the rotation. The undrafted guard appeared in 72 games and averaged 9.3 points, 3.9 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting 37.4 percent from three, earning more responsibility as the season progressed thanks to his steady decision-making and improved perimeter shooting. His path to fantasy relevance remains tied to opportunity, however. Detroit enters the season with a crowded backcourt led by Cade Cunningham, though Jenkins appears well positioned to remain part of the regular rotation after proving he can run the offense without becoming turnover-prone. He isn't likely to provide enough scoring to become a standard-league option, but managers in deeper formats should keep an eye on his assist production, with the potential for streaming value whenever injuries create a larger workload.
