Shaheed became the third player to log 18 appearances in a regular season, splitting his 2025 evenly between the Saints and Seahawks. In New Orleans, he was averaging career highs of 7.3 targets and 4.9 catches per game, but with career lows of 11.6 YPR and 7.5 YPT. Following a November trade, Shaheed sank to 3.0 targets per game (and 28.2 snaps on offense) in 12 appearances for Seattle, including the playoffs. He didn't score any touchdowns on offense, and caught just half of his targets (18 of 36 for 266 yards), making up for it with timely big plays, including a pair of TDs on special teams and a 51-yard catch in the NFC Championship Game. The Seahawks saw enough to re-sign Shaheed on a three-year, $51 million contract, presumably setting him up for a bigger impact on offense in 2026, though Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton may also compete for top-three roles at WR alongside target hog Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
