The Colts traded Pittman to Pittsburgh this March in what was essentially a salary dump, swapping draft pick No. 230 for No. 214. The 28-year-old has a full guarantee for his 2026 compensation, but no protections thereafter, potentially making this a one-year rental for the new coaching staff led by Mike McCarthy. Pittman looked good for most of last year, but his production started to fade mid-season and then completely died after Daniel Jones suffered a season-ending injury in Week 14. Pittman finished with an 80-784-7 receiving line on 111 targets, scoring six TDs in his first eight games. He was even on pace for 1,000 yards at the midway point of the season, but he didn't get close after averaging a mere 21.3 yards per game in Weeks 15-18. Pittman should be busier again in Pittsburgh, where DK Metcalf and second-round pick Germie Bernard represent the competition for targets. Aaron Rodgers is tentatively expected to return, which could set up an offense with a lot of short passes to keep Pittman busy. Just don't expect many big plays or huge yardage totals.
