Boswell is one of the better kickers in NFL history, and he's also one of the few who can consistently generate better fantasy results than what his team context provides. It's impossible to rank among the leaders year after year without the backing of a strong offense, but Boswell flashed that kind of ceiling in 2024 when he ranked second among kickers in fantasy points per game. He dropped to 15th last year despite going 9-of-11 from 50-plus yards -- his fifth straight year with at least seven makes of 50-plus -- as the Steelers unsurprisingly failed to generate league-high volume again. The combination of elite accuracy and leg strength is great in real life, but Boswell has to play his home games outdoors in a tough kicking stadium, and for a team that's unlikely to be any better than average on offense. It might take a heroic real-life performance to get him back inside the top 10 for fantasy.
