2026 Fantasy Outlook
Mariota saw far more action than Washington expected in 2025, appearing in 11 games and making eight starts while filling in for an injury-plagued Jayden Daniels during the latter's second season. The 32-year-old handled the role admirably, reinforcing his reputation as one of the league's more dependable backups by completing 61.2 percent of his passes for 1,695 yards and a 10:7 TD:INT, while adding 297 yards and a touchdown on 50 carries. Washington hopes Daniels can stay healthy for the bulk of the 2026 campaign, but Mariota has proven capable of stepping in and keeping the offense functional whenever needed.
