Culp played in 13 games as a sophomore after appearing in just five contests as a rookie, but his offensive opportunities nonetheless decreased. He saw only one target all season, which he caught for a six-yard touchdown. The Buccaneers re-signed No.1 tight end Cade Otton and depth TE Ko Kieft while drafting Bauer Sharp in the sixth round of the draft, leaving little room for Culp to move up the depth chart.
