Barlow enters the 2026-27 season after carving out a regular role with Philadelphia during the 2025-26 season, giving the 22-year-old his first extended opportunity as part of an NBA rotation. His athleticism, mobility and defensive versatility continue to stand out, allowing him to contribute at both frontcourt positions while bringing energy as a rim runner and rebounder. Offensively, Barlow remains a work in progress, and his fantasy value is still heavily dependent on minutes rather than usage, though a big role isn't expected after an offseason in which the 76ers bulked up their frontcourt by adding LeBron James and Jaylen Brown. Philadelphia's frontcourt depth should make consistent playing time difficult to project, but his age and physical tools leave room for continued development. Unless injuries open a larger role, Barlow is unlikely to provide enough counting stats to warrant consideration in standard leagues. He's better viewed as a deep-league or dynasty stash whose value hinges on earning a more stable workload.
