After being traded from Boston to Chicago midway through the 2025-26 season, Simons suffered a wrist injury that cost him the final 25 games of the season. He finished by playing 55 games, most of which were in Boston, averaging 14.3 points and 2.7 three-pointers in 24.9 minutes per game, leaving him well outside the top 200 in standard nine-category leagues. Having not been seen as a part of Chicago's future, Simons was acquired by Philadelphia during the offseason, where he will presumably play a backup role behind VJ Edgecombe and Tyrese Maxey. He will compete for minutes with newly acquired Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and rookie Labaron Philon. While Simon's is a serviceable addition for the 76ers, his role is unlikely to yield sustainable fantasy value. At best, managers should view him as a streaming option when in need of points and threes.
