Wade was a key rotational player for the Cavaliers over recent years, starting at small forward for most of last season. He wasn't asked to do much with guys like Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen dominating usage, but he improved throughout his Cavaliers tenure. That's why the Philadelphia 76ers acquired him, but there's no chance he starts for the Sixers. They added guys like LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, making them one of the NBA's true contenders. That will likely leave Wade with very little usage, but they need him to play some minutes to fill out this rotation. Wade averaged 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.2 threes per game last year. He did that damage across a career-high 22.3 minutes a night, but it would be a stretch for him to play 20 minutes in Philly. In fact, that number could plummet since he's competing with guys like Anfernee Simons, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Justin Edwards, Dominick Barlow and Adem Bona for second-team minutes. We don't expect Wade to fall out of the rotation altogether, but he likely won't be fantasy-relevant unless some of these veterans like James and Joel Embiid miss some time.
