Wallace's numbers last season were basically identical to what he delivered during the previous campaign, averaging 8.6 points, 1.9 steals and 1.3 three-pointers in 26.6 minutes per game. While this technically made him a borderline top 100 player, almost all his value came on the defensive end, making him nothing more than a steals specialist. Oklahoma City parted ways with Aaron Wiggins, Luguentz Dort and Isaiah Joe during the offseason, which should at least solidify Wallace as a 26-minute per-night player once again. The question as to who serves as the fifth starter remains wide open, with Wallace, Jared McCain and Ajay Mitchell all in the mix. Wallace provides the most defensive upside but is quite limited offensively. McCain is the best pure scorer, while Mitchell can contribute on both ends of the floor and likely has the most upside of the three. At this point, managers should view Wallace as a viable late-round flyer, particularly when in need of steals.
