Whittington signed with the Texans in May as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon. He had 129 carries for 829 yards and six touchdowns, as well as 19 catches for 98 yards with the Ducks in 2025. The 5-8, 205-pound running back is fighting an uphill battle to make the roster, much less push David Montgomery or Woody Marks for a role on offense, but Whittington could land a spot on Houston's practice squad.
