2026 Fantasy Outlook
Fairbairn has been the next best thing to Brandon Aubrey during the kicker explosion of the mid-2020s, ranking top five in fantasy points per game three years running. In fact, if not for two missed last season, it would likely be Fairbairn rather than Seattle's Jason Myers laying claim to the single-season kicker record for fantasy points. Fairbairn, 32, has a strong track record from long distance, but last year's fantasy explosion was largely based on league-leading total volume (48 FGAs) and flawless efficiency inside of 50 yards, where he went a perfect 35-of-35. He also made all of his PATs and went a respectable 9-of-13 from 50-plus yards. There's essentially no chance of repeating last year's short-range volume even if the Texans are all-defense, no-offense again, but Fairbairn should remain productive to a somewhat lesser extent, boasting an excellent multi-year track record for both fantasy and real-life purposes.
