Mims has made an annual tradition of doing just enough to keep a sliver of hope alive for a breakout the following year. We might have even said the same this year, but Denver's trade for Jaylen Waddle leaves Mims with a tougher path than ever to earn steady snaps on offense. And while that might make him a strong candidate in other situations, Mims' value as a return specialist and reasonable salary on a rookie contract mean the Broncos probably want to keep him, even if he's not ticketed for much on offense. The 2023 second-round pick was known as a deep threat in college at Oklahoma, but he's mostly seen short-area targets under Sean Payton the past two years, with volume fluctuating based on the health of teammates, among other things. While useful for fantasy late in the 2024 campaign, Mims has otherwise been limited to utility in return-yardage leagues -- a plan the Broncos seem okay with repeating for the final year of his rookie contract in 2026.
