Fantasy Outlook

Engram struggled in his first year with the Broncos, but it wasn't due to a lack of opportunities. He ran routes on 77.9 percent of his snaps (third-most among TEs) and finished 15th among TEs with 76 targets but ranked 25th at the position with 461 yards while scoring only one touchdown for the second consecutive campaign. Engram will turn 32 years old in September and appears to have lost a step, which is especially damaging considering the 6-foot-3, 240-pound TE is undersized and relies on quickness to elude defenders. He had 187 catches for 1,729 yards and eight TDs across the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the Jaguars, but Engram hasn't been the same since tearing his labrum in 2024 and isn't asked to do as much by the Broncos. Denver seems fine with the status quo in its TE room but traded for WR Jaylen Waddle in the offseason, so Engram's likely to drop down another rung in the pecking order after finishing third on the team in targets behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin last season.
