An undrafted free agent, Ott was never able to build on a big 2023 sophomore season at Cal due to injuries, and he barely played in 2025 with Oklahoma. His best moments on tape show a back with some early-down appeal, as he has adequate size and power and good vision to make the most of his blocking, but he needs to put in work to become a viable passing-down option, and he doesn't have the speed or elusiveness to be much of a big-play threat. In a Kansas City backfield that just got rebuilt around Kenneth Walker, Ott may need to prove he can contribute on special teams just to win a spot on the practice squad.
