2026 Fantasy Outlook
Minshew signed a one-year, $5.75 million contract with the Cardinals this offseason, getting $5.14 million guaranteed and (supposedly) a shot at a starting job. Jacoby Brissett is widely viewed as the favorite to start, but the Cardinals haven't actually named anyone, and Brissett is absent from voluntary spring practices due to displeasure with his contract. The third name to watch is rookie third-round pick Carson Beck, who could eventually get playing time if only because the other options are 30-something career backups. Minshew celebrated his 30th birthday in May, following a 2025 campaign for Kansas City in which his lone start was cut short by a knee injury. Now healthy, Minshew still won't offer much scrambling production, but he'll at least have decent weapons at his disposal in Arizona if he ever makes starts. The realistic hope here is short-term QB2 value in two-QB and SuperFlex leagues.
