Siakam's streak of seven straight top-50 fantasy finishes faced its stiffest test in 2025-26, as he was tasked with dragging a Tyrese Haliburton-less roster through a lost season. The volume was there, as Siakam averaged a career-high 24.0 points along with 6.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks in 33.2 minutes per game while shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from deep across 62 appearances. He led the Pacers in scoring and rebounding while producing at a high level even as Indiana limped to a 15-40 record at the All-Star break. However, his free-throw percentage cratered to 69.3 percent, well below his 75.4 career mark, his efficiency dipped without an elite playmaker creating easy looks and his famously ironclad durability finally wavered, with 20 missed games, including a back injury that kept him out down the stretch in April. The good news is that Haliburton should return from his Achilles rupture next season, and Indiana's up-tempo attack with its floor general back should restore Siakam's efficiency. The trade-off is that some of last season's inflated usage will flow back to Haliburton. Better percentages, fewer empty-calorie possessions and a winning environment is a fine deal for fantasy managers. The free-throw dip bears watching in category leagues, but Siakam has been one of the most bankable mid-round picks in fantasy for the better part of a decade. Draft him with confidence in the fifth round of all formats.
