Walker took another important step in his development during 2025-26, establishing himself as a regular part of Indiana's rotation thanks to his defensive versatility and steadily improving offensive game. He posted career-best numbers in 2025-26 as well, averaging 11.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.8 steals per game in 76 regular-season appearances (41 starts) while logging 25.7 minutes per contest and shooting 37.4 percent from three-point range. While he still wasn't a featured scorer, his ability to defend multiple positions, facilitate from the frontcourt and knock down open perimeter shots earned him increased trust from the coaching staff. The Pacers should be deeper in 2026-27, and that could limit his playing time opportunities, but Walker seems to have found a niche as a do-it-all forward who can come off the bench. Unfortunately for him, that role doesn't have a lot of fantasy appeal, so he's better suited to be a late-round option in deep leagues and a player to leave on waivers in standard redraft scenarios.
