After being traded from the Clippers to the Pacers midway through last season, Zubac played just five games before being shut down due to a rib injury. He finished the season just outside the top 100 in standard leagues, averaging 14.1 points, 10.6 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 30.1 minutes per game. Having been a third-round player during the 2024-25 season, it's fair to say that last year was a huge letdown for fantasy managers. After a season in which losing was prioritized, Indiana will enter the 2026-27 season with a revitalized attitude, thanks largely to the return of Tyrese Haliburton. Zubac will serve as the starting center, with his backup crew including Jay Huff and Larry Nance. Outside of the 2024-25 campaign, Zubac has been a consistent top 100 asset, a range that should be considered his floor. Managers wishing to snap him up in drafts may have to reach slightly higher, under the assumption that he could push to be a top 75 player, assuming he can remain healthy.
