LaRavia spent his first three seasons in Memphis, where he averaged a career-best 10.8 points during the 2023-24 campaign. He was dealt to Sacramento ahead of the deadline in February 2025, but he appeared in just 19 regular-season games for the club. After LaRavia's brief tenure with the Kings, he went on to ink a two-year, $12 million contract with the Lakers in July 2025. The 24-year-old appeared in all 82 regular-season games for Los Angeles in 2025-26, starting in 43 of those contests. He played relatively well as a starter, averaging 9.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals across 29.7 minutes, though he shot an inefficient 32.9 percent from behind the three-point line. With one year remaining on LaRavia's current deal, it's unknown what the future holds for the 2022 No. 19 overall pick. Assuming he remains in Los Angeles, he should see consistent playing time off the bench while also getting some more opportunities to start. However, as long as Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are healthy and on the floor, it may be difficult for anyone else to receive consistent scoring opportunities.
