Drummond changed teams over the offseason and joined the Knicks to fill the void left by Mitchell Robinson, who joined the Celtics. Drummond will provide veteran frontcourt depth behind Karl-Anthony Towns in the reigning league champions, but he's the kind of player that has more value in real life than in fantasy. His per-minute production is strong, as he averaged 6.4 points and 8.4 rebounds on 19.5 minutes per game with the 76ers in 2025-26, but he shouldn't have a lot of chances to repeat the same role in New York. His 19.5 minutes per game in the 2025-26 season were his highest mark since the 2021-22 campaign, and he's also not likely to start 25 games as he did in the last term. Unless injuries create a larger role, Drummond is expected to function primarily as a backup center, limiting his fantasy appeal in standard formats. His poor free-throw shooting and lack of offensive versatility also cap his ceiling. Still, managers in deeper leagues know exactly what they're getting: elite rebounding whenever he's on the floor and one of the better handcuff centers in fantasy basketball. He's a player you could consider targeting late in your drafts simply based on the per-minute production, but he's far more useful as a streaming pickup for category-based leagues.
