It looked like Green was going to get traded during the offseason, but that never came to fruition. That could be a best-case scenario for Green because he's expected to play a major role for this rebuilding Bucks team. They parted ways with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis this offseason while acquiring Brayden Burries, Jaime Jaquez, Tyler Herro and Kel'el Ware. You'd have to expect that Green loses his starting gig to Herro, but there are still plenty of opportunities for this weak rotation. This sharpshooter should have that opportunity coming off a breakout season, averaging 10.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.5 steals and 3.0 threes per game last year. Those were all career-highs, which is no surprise since he played nearly 30 minutes a night. His three-pointers are the only thing that keeps him relevant, but that will always be the case since that's what he brings to this team. We'd have to speculate that he struggles to see the 30 minutes he received last year, with a 25-minute bench role looking like the most likely outcome. He can still knock down some threes in that type of role, but that's likely his ceiling when looking at his production, role and roster around him.
