Fantasy Outlook

Green is an elite sharpshooter. He shot 42.7 percent on 5.0 three-point attempts per game last season, both career highs. Green made multiple three-pointers in 50 of his 78 appearances, including the postseason, and a season-high seven triples in a game twice. Damian Lillard tore his Achilles during the postseason and was waived by the Bucks this offseason, creating a massive hole in Milwaukee's backcourt. Kevin Porter and Gary Trent are expected to start, with Cole Anthony, Ryan Rollins, Green and Gary Harris serving as backups. That's a crowded group without a true alpha, so fantasy managers will want to monitor the situation closely in case someone separates from the pack. Green has one elite skill, so his role and usage should remain consistent, while those around him will likely have sporadic production. However, that also means that Green's upside is limited to being a three-point specialist in category leagues.
