The 2025 season was one to forget for Franklin, but he'll get a much-needed change of scenery and a chance to get back on track with Green Bay in 2026. The good news from last season is that Franklin played in all 17 games and handled his typical workload. That's also where the good news ends. Franklin's 125 tackles were his fewest since 2021, and he also had a 13.9 percent missed-tackle rate -- the highest of his career. He was similarly dreadful in coverage, allowing 10.5 yards per reception and a 109.3 passer rating when targeted. Perhaps Franklin was slowed by an offseason ankle surgery, though it's also possible he's just slowing as he nears his age-30 season. The 2026 campaign should clarify Franklin's future outlook, as he is projected to replace Quay Walker alongside Edgerrin Cooper, but Isaiah McDuffie could push him if his struggles from last season carry over.
