Fantasy Outlook
Shipley carved out a role for himself in his second season with the Eagles, but it didn't come in the backfield. The 2024 fourth-round pick out of Clemson led the team in kickoff return yards with 777, with his 26.8 yards per return sneaking into the top 10 in the league as his athleticism and quick cuts made him a natural fit for the job. It's less clear if he has anything to offer an NFL offense, however. Shipley has averaged just 3.0 yards per carry in his limited touches over the last two years while also getting few chances to make his mark as a pass-catcher, and Philadelphia traded for Tank Bigsby last season to be the main backup for Saquon Barkley. The depth chart got even more crowded in March when the team signed Dameon Pierce to a one-year deal. Shipley's special-teams value should keep him on the roster, but he's unlikely to make a bigger impact on offense.Eagles Lineup
