In 2025, he also took a step forward in the return game, totaling 125 kick-return yards and 124 punt-return yards. The 29-year-old wideout has extensive familiarity with Philadelphia's system, but he faces real competition for an end-of-roster spot in the team's wide receiver room, even with A.J. Brown out of the picture. Covey may be a more realistic candidate to resurface on the team's practice squad.
