Fantasy Outlook

Barkley's magical first season in Philadelphia couldn't portend the struggles that followed in 2025, but in hindsight it's safe to say that everything was lined up perfectly for Barkley in 2024 in a way that might be difficult to recapture. Barkley should keep playing at an elite level for his own part, but the broader state of the Philadelphia offense remains to be seen. The divorce between Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown will force a paradigm shift, and the Eagles offensive line was not as dominant last year as it was the year prior. Even so, these concerns highlight the fact that, while everything was perfect for Barkley and the Eagles in 2024, things fell apart in 2025 such that it marked something of a worst-case scenario for Barkley and his fantasy investors. If 1,413 yards and nine touchdowns from scrimmage is your worst case then things probably aren't so bad. One way Barkley's luck could turn for the better would be regarding offensive line injuries - the Eagles missed reps or/and had guys playing hurt at left guard, center and right tackle at various points, and the second-half absence of Lane Johnson in particular hit the Eagles hard.
