Wease went undrafted in 2025, following a six-year college journey at Oklahoma and Missouri. He had more receiving yards than Luther Burden in their second of two seasons together at Mizzou, but Wease is two and a half years older, turning 25 this summer. Wease earned a spot on the Dolphins' practice squad last summer, scoring two TDs in the preseason. He then ended up playing in the final three games of the regular season, catching six of 10 targets for 139 yards and a touchdown (with some help from a defensive mistake to score a 63-yard TD). Wease will now compete for a roster spot in Miami, home to arguably the weakest WR group in the league.
