A sixth-round pick in 2024, Vidal saw little action as a rookie but got a chance in 2025 due to injuries to both Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton. Vidal seized the opportunity, topped 100 rushing yards in two of his first three starts before finishing the season with 779 scrimmage yards and four total touchdowns over 13 regular-season games. The Troy product was a good fit for Greg Roman's run-heavy scheme as a back with good power and a low center of gravity who can be hard to bring down, but Vidal might be a square peg in a round hole as Mike McDaniel takes over as the offensive coordinator for the Chargers and emphasizes speed. A healthy Hampton is the clear No. 1 RB for Los Angeles, and the team signed Keaton Mitchell away from the Ravens in the offseason to provide another breakaway threat in the open field. Vidal might still find a role as a short-yardage option, but he'll have a hard time getting the same kind of touch volume he did last year.
