Matlock logged plenty of work as a blocker last year, tallying 333 offensive snaps over 16 regular-season games. He didn't receive any carries and reeled in all four of his targets for 12 yards and a touchdown. However, the Chargers' signing of Pro Bowl FB Alec Ingold in March likely spells the end of Matlock's reign as the team's primary fullback. He may be cut, though there's also a chance he could convert back to defense, as he began his pro career as a defensive tackle.
