Fitzgerald went undrafted in 2025 after a prolific college career at Florida State, but it didn't take him long to lock down the placekicking job in Carolina. He was less impressive once the season began, converting 82.8 percent of field-goal attempts and 90.0 percent of PATs, with just two makes of 50-plus yards on five tries. Fitzgerald at least did well with his shorter field goals, if not PATs, and he made each of his five kicks in Carolina's playoff game. For fantasy, he didn't get nearly enough volume to matter, ranking t-19th in FGAs (29) and 23rd in PATs (27). The Panthers didn't add competition for Fitzgerald's job during the early portion of the offseason, but he'd need a huge boost in volume just to gain fringe fantasy relevance.
