Roy Lopez returns to the Cardinals for the 2026 season after spending a year with the Lions. Lopez played a career-low 39% of Detroit's defensive snaps in 2025, yet still produced 30 tackles (11 solo) with career highs in sacks (2.0) and quarterback hits (5). He also had at least four tackles for loss for the fourth time in his five-year career. Lopez is expected to start at nose tackle for the Cardinals in Nick Rallis's defense in 2026, a position that typically holds more importance on an actual football field than in fantasy football. It's fair to expect Lopez to get back to his typical 45% to 48% snap share with Arizona, but he will still be in a rotation with veteran Andrew Billings on the interior. Lopez is not a player worth targeting in IDP leagues given his lack of tackle and sack production.
