Mike Green carved out a significant role for the Ravens after being drafted in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. During his final season at Marshall, Green recorded 22.5 tackles for loss and led the nation in sacks (17.5), but he ultimately fell in the draft because of off-field issues. That gave him an opportunity to land with a Baltimore team searching for more explosiveness on the edge. Green delivered, playing on 63% of Baltimore's defensive snaps, collecting 41 tackles (17 solo), seven tackles for loss, 34 pressures and 3.5 sacks in 17 games with two starts. The second-year edge rusher will need to show he's improved as a run defender (16.7% missed tackle rate) to justify being more than a pass-rush specialist. It's far more likely that Green begins the 2026 season in a rotation with Tavius Robinson and 2026 second-round pick Zion Young working across the line from free agent acquisition Trey Hendrickson. Green's sack production may increase thanks to the talent around him on the defensive line, but he will need to find a way to emerge from a deep pass-rush rotation to justify a spot in IDP lineups in 2026.
