Andrews averaged a career-low 24.8 receiving yards per game in 2025, which is less than half of his 53.2 yards per game from his first seven NFL seasons. His 70 targets marked his highest total since 2022, but Andrews recorded a paltry 422 yards and 8.8 yards per catch, both the worst marks of his career. Despite that drop-off, the Ravens chose in December to extend Andrews, who will turn 31 just before the start of the 2026 season, rather than the younger Isaiah Likely, who siphoned off 194 targets in four years. With Likely and Charlie Kolar leaving in free agency, Andrews seems to have less competition for snaps/routes/targets, though the Ravens reportedly have been in contact with David Njoku and other veteran tight ends. Baltimore will continue to rely primarily on the legs of Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, with WR Zay Flowers by far the top option for the passing game (until Baltimore gets to the red zone). Andrews hasn't missed a game in the past two seasons and has 17 total TDs over that span, but age-related regression appears well underway, potentially minimizing his impact outside of the red zone.
