Henley has quickly emerged as one of the most well-rounded linebackers in the league thanks to his sure tackling and solid work in coverage. His sharp decline in tackles last season had less to do with his level of play and more to do with his alignment and usage in the Chargers' defensive scheme. Los Angeles used a heavy front to stop the run and deployed dime personnel to limit the pass. That left them far less reliant on their linebacker corps than nearly any team in the league, in turn limiting opportunity for Henley and their other linebackers. Although Jesse Minter departed to become the head coach of the Ravens, Chris O'Leary has taken over as defensive coordinator. He was the Chargers' safeties coach in 2024 before calling plays in college in 2025. That connection to the team's scheme is enough to believe he'll keep it consistent and limit Henley's opportunity relative to the other elite fantasy linebackers around the league. Henley's skills are very strong, but his fantasy potential is limited relative to those skills.
