Parkinson was the top performer in a deep Rams TE room that had four players notch at least 25 targets last season. He led the group across the board with 43 catches for 408 yards and eight TDs on 56 targets in 15 regular-season appearances before adding eight catches for 152 yards and one TD on 14 targets across three postseason outings. Prior to his breakout 2025 campaign, Parkinson had just five TDs in 71 games and hadn't exceeded 322 receiving yards in a season. All four of Parkinson, Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and Terrance Ferguson will be back in 2026, and the Rams drafted TE Max Klare in the second round. Higbee began last season atop the depth chart prior to an ankle injury, while Ferguson has growth potential as a second-round pick in 2025. There are only so many targets to go around behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, who drew 280 combined looks from Matthew Stafford last season, so Parkinson will have to fend off the team's other TEs to maintain his slice of the pie. If he holds onto the same role, Parkinson's uptick in scoring could be sustainable, as his 22 red-zone targets in 2025 tied for third-most among NFL TEs.
