Austin was a regular contributor for Pittsburgh's receiving corps in 2025, starting seven of 14 games but finishing with just 31 catches for 372 yards and three touchdowns on 55 targets. He joined the Giants on a one-year deal in the offseason and was expected to serve as the team's top slot receiver, but his season came to an early end when he tore his ACL in an Aug. 25 practice. Austin will hope to return to full health in advance of training camp next summer, but he'll be headed back to free agency and may not be a high-priority signing for teams while he comes back from a major injury.
