Skattebo was one of the most pleasant surprises early in the 2025 season, as the fourth-round pick out of Arizona State took over the Giants backfield in Week 2 and quickly established himself as one of the league's most notable fantasy workhorses, showing off memorable power as a runner plus high-level pass-catching production. It was one of the most sickening moments of recent seasons, then, when Skattebo suffered a gruesome dislocated ankle in Week 8, right after he logged six straight games with double-digit fantasy points in 0.5PPR scoring. If Skattebo can return 100 percent healthy from the ankle injury then there's no obvious reason why he wouldn't pick up where he left off - Skattebo's elusiveness and pass-catching ability make him a three-down fit for any offense - and the Giants offense should continue to improve as Jaxson Dart develops. The addition of 10th overall pick Francis Mauigoa at right guard might be just what the Giants offensive line needs to reach the next level, and either way the Giants will likely call a run-heavy offense with John Harbaugh running the show. Even if fellow running back Tyrone Tracy sees a sizable workload himself, a fully healthy Skattebo would likely remain the centerpiece of the Giants offense from scrimmage.
