2026 Fantasy Outlook
Capela was one of the best centers in the league during the prime of his career, but that's no longer the case. He's coming off a 2025-26 campaign in which he was limited to just three starts and 12.3 minutes per game in 75 regular-season contests with the Rockets. He averaged just 3.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, and his role isn't likely to change in 2026-27. He's behind Alperen Sengun, Steven Adams and even Jabari Smith on the depth chart, meaning he'll essentially battle to operate as the third-string center and see garbage minutes. With his playing time and role both trending in the wrong direction, don't expect Capela to have any meaningful upside in fantasy ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season.
