A 2026 sixth-round pick, Green will compete with Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel for snaps in Cleveland. At 6-foot-6, 227, Green has unprecedented athleticism for his size and position. He set all-time QB marks at the Combine for vertical jump (43.5 inches) and broad jump (11 feet, 2 inches) and ran the third-fastest 40 time for a QB at a blazing 4.36 seconds. He has a strong arm that generates impressive downfield velocity, but he's unrefined as a passer. Green's long delivery will make him susceptible to NFL pass rushes, and his inconsistent mechanics contributed to 26 turnovers the last two seasons (20 interceptions, 6 fumbles lost) at Arkansas. However, as a dual-threat QB, he rushed for 777 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games last year, showing a skillset that might help him get on the field this season in at least a wildcat role. His ability to carve up defenses with his legs has been compared to Lamar Jackson's, which new head coach Todd Monken, the former Ravens offensive coordinator, perhaps had in mind when the team drafted Green.
